(Junior) Product Manager

As a Junior PM at Xaver, you'll own real product work from day one. Working with other PMs alongside you, you'll have a defined product area you're accountable for: the decisions, the shipping, the outcomes. You’ll contribute to the creation and iteration of product roadmaps,  supporting the development, launch, and iteration of new features, while analyzing performance metrics and market trends to drive optimization

This isn't a shadowing role or a six-month ramp before you touch anything that matters. We hire people we trust to run with things, and we back them when they do.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and business, to define product requirements.
• Own defined areas end-to-end - you'll make the calls, with senior PMs as a sounding board rather than an approval layer.
• Contribute to the creation and iteration of product roadmaps based on user insights and business goals.

• Partner with design, engineering, and commercial teams to ship high-quality features on time.
• Document requirements and decisions clearly for internal and external stakeholders.
• Test and validate product improvements, actively seeking feedback to drive continuous iteration.

• Own performance dashboards for your product surface and surface insights proactively.
• Maintain competitive and market intelligence that informs roadmap decisions.

• Up to two years in product management, project management, or a similar role in a technology-driven environment - ideally at a startup or scale-up.
• Thinks seriously about where AI creates real value in regulated, human-centred products. You use AI tools daily in your own work and have a point of view on how they change the way products get built.
• Strong candidates finalising a Bachelor's or Master's degree with meaningful PM, product, or startup internship experience are also encouraged to apply. In this case, you would join firstly as an intern **and step into the full-time Junior PM seat within 3-4 months - several of our current team got here that way
• Basic understanding of the financial services or FinTech landscape is a plus.
• Thinks critically and questions the status quo - including decisions from senior stakeholders!
• Strong feel for UX and a genuine understanding of the end user.
• Sharp analytical thinker who stays organised and calm when multiple things are moving at once.
• Clear communicator who works well across design, engineering, and commercial teams.
• Self-motivated and curious, with real interest in building things in a startup environment.
• Fluency in English and German is required; other European languages are a plus.
